paddle tire recommendation

I have a 2008 raptor 700 with dmc duals, PCV with auto tune, and air box delete, what brand/size/paddle count would you recommend for rear straight paddles? thanks

7 paddle Skat Trak Extreme 21/12/8

Make sure you go with an 8 inch wheel either way. More sidewall gives the tire more flex and in turn give you more traction. Watch a drag car on launch, the tire folds over itself, same concept here. Your mods are almost identical to mine when I went with my Skats, it was a very noticeable gain.

To add to jdacus's comment, the extra sidewall really helps with flotation more than anything. If you have real soft silty sand go with a 22 inch tall tire on a 8 inch rim.

I so wish that size was available from a major retailer. The 6 and 7 paddles have to be ordered and there's no discount to be had (that I've found). That's the size I want to order before the rally.

Bow Commander, you could always go with a 8 paddle HAULER in that size. Should be very similar.

None of the shops around here carry them either. Everyone runs way too many paddles here. I had to order mine from Fullerton sand sports. They actually came out to be close in price to what I found from rockymtn and Motorsport.

Honestly, I would go with 8 over 7 anyway. But that is my preference.

Right? I see 9-10 paddles on stock and big three raptors all the time. I want 7 max. I'll give Fullerton a call. I got a quote from Skat, and it was like $360 for two. Yikes.

Where did you find the 7 paddle listed? Skat's website or a retailer?
