Stock sprocket sizes?

Just picked up a 2013 raptor 700. Some noise is coming from front sprocket and or chain. I can already tell the gears are pretty short. Lots of spinning. I'm wanting to replace the sprockets and chain. What do you suggest?

I believe stock is 14 front 38 rear. I'd suggest going to a 15t front and keep back stock. Makes a nice difference in power delivery making the gears slightly taller. Might want to consider replacing your chain at the same time. I bought a chain sprocket set from RMATV for ~$90 that I've been very happy with. It was the Primary Drive Gold X-ring chain/sprocket combo. I had to buy the 15t separately($15), but I like having a spare 14T on hand so it was worth it to me. When putting on the 15t the PD chain was the perfect length, I didn't need to remove any links making the install VERY easy.

Also if you're hearing a lot of noise I'd bet its your front chain roller. They go bad fast. Buy a UPP/Moose case saver and just remove the roller all together.

I agree with all of the above. Especially the poly case saver and remove the roller completely.

Larger front/smaller rear = more top speed, less torque

Smaller front/bigger rear = more torque, less top speed

Pick your poison

I picked up 14/38 AFAM sprockets and a brand new D.I.D. X-ring chain for around $130 off eBay

Which chain set did you get? Do you have a part number. And I will also order that case saver.

Found a case saver on Amazon by tm design works. Which is also the saver that comes up when I type in upp case saver on Google? Same thing?

Just make sure it is made of Poly. It will absorb any impact vs others that do not.

So these ones say billet aluminum? One says highly reinforced composite plastic

Do not get the billet one. Composite plastic provides more impact resistance.
