Default My Custom made TOOL BOX!!!

inside

Measures 9.25 long 3 wide 3 tall

Well i didn't make it, but andrew over at H.E.P. Did

Coolest guy to deal would love to do business with him again. i was over at YFZ central and noticed he had a tool can for the YFZ 450 & asked if he could fab one up for the 700. I measured my mounting holes near the grab bar called him with the info and 1 week later BAM its at my door. He also made it longer for me 9" vs the 7" he normally makes. AND powder coated it white FOR FREE.

Hes out of IL, his number is 815 842 2002 if you guys want to order one.

O and i mainly got it not because i brake down but so i can carry some heavy duty tow rope for when my buddies brake down on the trails and a few extra tools is always nice

Yeah I always end up carrying a plug wrench and some spare plugs for my 2 stroke dirt bike buddies when we hit some trails. I have some room with the sixpack rack for a small bag/cooler.

How does the end can fit on? I'd be afraid of losing my stuff if it's a flimsy fit.

Yeah, it looks like that lid just kind of sticks on there--like it might fall off if it gets muddy. I'd sure hate to be losing my tools as they go flying out of there.

If the lid is secure, I'd probably get one.

the lid actually fits very snug. HEP includes 2 of them. What i was thinking was cutting all the edges on the lid so they were flaps, and putting some tough velcrow on the lid then on the tool box for extra security. But i think ill see how it holds up on my next ride before i go cutting it.
