Wiring Harness and shock question
1st -- Are the wiring harnesses interchangeable? Like can I put an '05 harness on an '03 engine or vice verse?
2nd -- I want to repaint the coils on my shocks (don't have the money for new one's). Is there a way to break them down? I looked at the service manual and all is says is to replace the unit if faulty...
Thanks guys.

Any 02 thru 05 harness, engine, CDI and other all other electrics are interchangeable.
The only year issue is: 01 harness MUST be used with 01 CDI, all else is same - any engine, any and all electrics EXCEPT an 02+ CDI can be used with an 01 harness, and an 01 CDI can not be used with an 02+ harness.
See my sticky in the General 660 Discussion section - "The differences between 01 and 02+ CDI wiring explained."

Cool, thanks. Do you know how/if the shocks can be torn down?
