I had a YZ426f with auto decompress cams fr a year. It was a great machine. I have never road a 250F however. I'd like to find a parts bike of a 250F at some point I normally buy my toys in parts.

Huskys always have kinda obsoleted the selves in 3-4 years. KTM's however are more main stream now days. Online OEM places carry ktm stuff so no need to go to a dealer and pay marked up prices. Best wen buying any machine is print out all the schematics of parts and part numbers so you can look them up on ebay and score blow out deals of stuff people do not even know.

Currently I have local want adds out for 1993+ KTM's wanted. I'm really after a 08-10 to one day throw my highly done up 87 YZ250 motor in.

2005 KFX700 good bit of mods
2001 Raptor 660R too many mods
1985 ATC250R

Well, looks like I have a 2016 in the bag. Long time friend of the family's son bought a 2016 WR250f in the spring and has been putting around their farm with it since new. He also has a yfz450 he rides a lot. Since this was his first ever dirt bike he has come to the realization it's not his niche, plus him and his wife are young starting out, the payments at a fuzz over $200 a month are hurting them financially. He already has the GYTR tuner for it, and it only has 50 or so miles on the thing, never been on a trail, only farm. He is ok until March, when I will pay it off for him which should be right around the $5000 mark. He is a good kid, he bought my 71 lifted blazer off me which I let him make payments on a few years back when he first got his license. This is a winning situation for both of us.

Now that I think of it, a few years back was more like 8. Damn....time flies by.

Well, things change. Work bonus was not as planned, no biggie. Scouring CL on a daily hourly basis pays off. I snagged an immaculate 2008 WR250f today for under $3000. I have combed it over and over, all OEM no scratches low hours. Tame beast compared to my YZ250f for sure. I will take pics later today and post up, but WOW this thing is squeaky clean.....
