2008 yamaha grizzly 80 help! Carb/throttle cable issues

I just got this grizzly, it's been sitting up for a few years the fuel cock was completely clogged, took it apart, had to clean the carburetor, took it apart and soaked it. When I took the carb off and I removed the throttle plate the cylinder that's inside, the spring everything came out easily with the needle hanging out of the center of it, it came out by itself I didn't have to do anything. I didn't know if that was right or not but I went ahead and cleaned the carb, when I went to put everything back on the cylinder with the needle and the throttle cable into the throttle on the carburetor and put the plate on and when I got everything mounted back together the throttle cable was super loose so I took it off and realized that the end of the cable was down inside the carb, throttle cable was down inside of the carb you can see it next to the needle. I posted pictures I can't get the throttle cable loose from the drum or the cylinder in the carb, I can't get the cylinder to come out of the carb again and I don't know what to do now please help! thank you. Pics posted.

Wow, that looks like a Chinese jigsaw puzzle. Pack lots of patience, try not to pull it tight. Walk away if you get frustrated.

Can you push the cable in more to try to loosen it up from being pinched in there?

I can push it in a little bit more it's not really in a bind but the cylinder seems like it's stuck in their hard I don't think I can rotate it I tried pulling it out with some needle nose that didn't work

Seems as if it might have got a little debris in there causing it to bind. Can you put it in a vice allowing both hands to fiddle with it? Maybe spray a bit of wd40 along it?
