Hot Rod 300ex
So I bought a '97 big bore 300ex from my neighbor. He bought some 24.5" semi wheels for his Chevy dually and needed some cash. He had this motor built several years ago but the quad has been sitting for about 6 months. From what I've read its no bigger than 330cc, but it runs on race gas with the help of a 400ex carb. I have a few questions, hopefully someone can chime in with some answers.
-It still has the stock airbox lid. If I put on an EHS lid, I would have to rejet?
-Got some ASV levers for it, can I connect the 2 wires for the start in gear switch together?
-Its got a DG krome full exhaust thats seen its better days. How much bigger are the dg headers than stock? I would like to put a slip on on it and be able to reuse the header if possible.
