Having to use a TON of fuel...

dobeck style controller. appears to have some corrosion inside.

The issue is that i have to use settings comparable to a big bore setup when all I have is exhaust and intake. low is set at something like 7 mid 8 and top 9.

new injector on the way to rule that out.. Cleaned the throttle body, it wasnt bad. Smells like I'm getting some gas in the oil. the thing has a ton of hours on it. valves are in spec.

Don't be concerned with bore size, cam or anything else other then air in and air out. Map for what works and give some light color to a new plug.
