riding temp

I did some searches and see that normal temps is 190-200 and over heat light is 250
if I ride slow with my kids at what temp should I be concerned about and at what temps is just too high to ride hard ?

This thread may be of assistance: https://www.raptorforum.com/forums/sh...es#post1137873

I wouldn't expect you to overheat riding slowly with your kids, and these machines continue to operate fine well into the triple digits so ambient wouldn't be my concern either. Proper tuning (correct a/f mixture) and maintenance (proper levels and types of coolant and oil) are of course important in coping with heat loads. There are also products like aftermarket high capacity radiators and coolants/additives like Engine Ice if by chance you do find yourself having trouble.

Photobucket is trash now, use something else.

If your radiator fan and the fan's thermal switch are working properly it will be extremely difficult for you to make it overheat - the Raptor has a very efficient cooling system.
