Not sure why they were using a fork lift....
I've bent a couple rotors trail riding, even with aftermarket skids! (It was usually from backing into a boulder or something)
They can be tweaked (bent) pretty easily, it is probably just the rotor.

Re: :3question: How easily is a rotor bent????????? please help

Blah!! i suppose they were trying to help and being lazy at the same time. i spent all afternoon trying to get the rotor off the four allen bolts wouldnt budge ended up stripping all four heads. finally got them off using a fine chisel and a hammer at an angle to get them to twist off. everything else seems ok. just have to stop by the dealer and get some new bolts. does anyone know how i can expand the caliper a bit to fit the thicker rotor? do i just bleed it out?

Bent my rotor taking Rappy off the trailer once... missed the ramp and dropped it off the side, just a bit... landed on the rotor... bent to hell. They are not designed to support any load other than braking forces. Get a good swing arm skid plate... cheaper in the long run than replacing bent rotors and sprockets.

You may have to back off the parkbrake if it is still installed

Damn, so they refused? sorry maybe you already said it, was it a brand new bike or used? how long did you wait to take it back and complain? they should have fixed it if you're sure they did it, go threaten them a little more, talk with the owner, and then be like hey, I'm never coming back here, I will never recomend anyone to come back here and call the Better business buera!

for removal... next time you need a tourch to heat up the bolts before you take them out! as for the caliper, new pads wont fit in i dont think unless you remove the braking break plate and then push the caliper all the way in. if you use the same pads, they should be ok with out doing that

yea i backed out the parking brake bolt bled them out and they are working great with my new rotor. i guess the guilt got to the guy at the dealer and he agreed to give me some free parts for my troubles and ordered me some other stuff at cost. i guess things work out for the best one way or another. thanks for all the input guys ur a great help.
