Clutch issues

I bought me a 01 Raptor yfm660R and when I try starting it,(I had Jacked up, ATV Jack) the rear tires would spin a little even with the clutch engaged, so does that mean that the clutch is not good? I'm trying to figure out what's good to keep and the bad to get rid off it if its not worth keeping.

Thats normal. Clutch will slip under hard acceleration when it needs replaced

I bought it, but I don't know how long it sat outside for, every time I tried starting it the rear tires would spin a little as I tried to started, so will it need replacement more than likely correct? What is a good clutch brand? I like to get the hinson clutch basket and hinson pressure plate, and I've been looking at some other parts too as well, not that I race but I want to have something that if one of my friends talks crap, then you already know rest....

You might just need to adjust your clutch lever and cable. It is still worth keeping even if you have to replace the clutch. I just swapped out my clutch lever for a quick adjustable one and it does wonders. I would say use your cable adjuster to play around with the adjustment on the cable first and foremost.
