well, we've got 28 votes so far... I KNOW there's gotta be more 01 owners in here.

Chime in, and add your vote to the poll PLEASE? The more votes we get the more likely we are to have valid statistics.

Thanks,

QM

After inspecting my cases I think I need to change my vote, I do believe the transmission failed on the previous owner...

I'll keep track of any desired vote changes and of multiple cases per member (cuz u can't change a vote or vote twice in the poll) and will publish the final stats including these.

Thanks! Keep it up, 01 owners. VOTE!

Well I have an 03 and lost the tranny within the first 50 hrs dealer repaired under warranty (a whole nother story). A little less than a year later it falied agian. I tore it down and the dealer had left out a thrust washer, has been fine since last repair. Bought a spare , 03, engine of of ebay, and it lost the tranny too.
Maybe we need a poll on non 01's that lost a tranny.
