Is there a good radiator to use

Hello, new to the forum here. I have a 2003 660R that needs a radiator. When I first started looking I saw Mishimoto sold Raptor radiators and thought I would order one. I didn't need the 30% increase in cooling but I also have a Ford 6-leaker with a Mishimoto radiator/intercooler/thermostat and I was happy with the quality of those parts so I ordered one. I can't get this thing to fit. The upper water connection hits the frame long before the mounts line up and the fan hits the steering shaft. I know the quad frame isn't all bent up, I've owned it since new, I am just completely disappointed in the fitment of the new radiator. Is there any aftermarket radiator that fits decent or should I just cough up the money for an OEM unit? I was trying to avoid the eBay/Amazon radiators because I wanted one that fit. All I do is trail ride in Michigan, stock radiator worked just fine, the entire quad is stock except gearing (12/42), just looking for one that keeps the fluid on the inside.

Thanks for any help.

I also tried a mushimoto on a raptor 700 and it wasn’t even close to fitting. I’ve heard of many guys running the eBay ones without any issue.

After reading your reply and doing some looking I see I'm not the only one that has had fitment issues with a Mishimoto. I bought an eBay knock off, I'll see how well that fits this weekend. I have called and sent an email and have not heard anything from Mishi so I figure I'll end up selling that turd to anybody willing to try it.

I returned mine and paid the restocking fee. It seemed like a really well built piece, just not even close to fitting. I bought a used oem instead.

Well, the cheap eBay radiator fits like an OEM. So that was actually money well spent compared to dealer prices. Even has the same ugly finish on it the factory one had.

Finally heard back from Mishimoto, after taking some pictures they determined my radiator was defective and I'm getting a full refund and they are paying the return shipping, so I'm pretty happy with that. The Mishimoto one looked a lot nicer, and a lot sturdier but if it doesn't fit, it doesn't fit.

Just have to change the rear axle bearings and I should be ready for the season.

Garage
There is not very many aftermarket radiators out there. I was looking to get one for my atv as well but it looks like the stock ones are the only option to go with unless you get the eBay ones.

I’ve used this forum for the wealth of knowledge but I bought the eBay GPI racing one that has 40% more capacity and fit like a glove. It’s one of the best ones I’ve found that actually fits. It is about twice as thick as my oem that I took off. Bought a second one for my new build
