New here guys,its a pleasure

Anyone on here done a 660/r1 carbed build ? The frame will be done by superquads but doing the rest myself, what do you guys recommend width wise ? +2 then spacers? Any pictures of your builds needing some inspiration 😎 cheers

Welcome to the forum!

It has been done... I've seen it talked about here in the past. Keep patient and update your thread often - hopefully someone with more info will eventually see and respond.

As far as width - +2+1 a-arms in front with a pair of 1-2" spacers or a 2-3" extended axle in the rear makes this quad very stable and not at all tippy (with 660 engine but my VERY heavy butt up top on the seat!)...

I don't know what, if any, difference there is in weight between the 660 and the R1 engines, but at least they're down low and so contribute less to lateral instability than a heavy rider, IMO.

Look up "Xtream Motorsports" in Washington state. They do a lot of R1 conversions.
