Hello, I bet some of guys have read my threads about me asking for help and suggestions, some of you have shared some pretty good stuff and I appreciate it very much, I found someone nearby that has an 01 Raptor 660R YFM to be parted out so he's going to sell me a bundle of parts at a good price, now my question on this one thread is are CP pistons good quality? Also I want to get Hot cams for my Raptor is stage 2 or 3 best? Let me know please!!! Thanks

Cp pistons are one of the top choices for a raptor. Cam depends on compression. If its 11:1 or higher go with the stage 3. If its under 11:1 use the stage 2

Also, with any cam bigger than stage 1 on a 660, you will need HD valve springs...

4Stroker4life I appreciate your time and your help,I heard about CP Pistons being good for Raptor660r ,so I will get the stage 3 cam,now for a cylinder should I go with the oem,or I bought a big bore off Amazon called Niche 686cc with everything on it but I heard that the piston is garbage, but the cylinder has a good sleeve,I don't know how true that is...valves I got kibblewhites something like that, but I've been iffy about this big bore kit...

The chinese cylinders are hit and miss. Some are perfect, some need decked, and some need an extra base gasket, lol. Big bore requires head studs and a copper coated head gasket. I dont like kibble white valves in a raptor, and you didnt mention HD valve springs for that cam...
