Exhaust Temp

First off, yes I know the exhaust is supposed to be hot.

I soaked and rebuilt the carbs and turned the A/F out to 3 turns. Ran fine but I never knew what the stock feel of it was since I got it used with carb issues so I had no baseline. I turned the A/f's down to 2.5 turns and the exhaust seems like there is alot of extra heat coming from the pipes now. The throttle is crisp but wanted to get an opinon. I will probably turn it to 2-3/4 on the A/F's today to see how that is. Any input.

Check your plug, that will tell you if you're lean. If the headers aren't glowing red, chances are you're anything but.

Photobucket is trash now, use something else.
