New clutch problems

Hey guys looking for a lil help I replaced my clutches and afeter letting it warm up a while I can get it to click down into gear but when I release the clutch it doesn’t take off also with it not running I can push it while in gear

Check the lever on the case for free play. If 1/2in. or more you need to re-index the lever for about 1/8-3/16 free play both cold and warm up. Fine tune at the handle bar lever.

Unfortunately its very common to accidently push the shifter out when in the clutch side doing work,and by the sounds of it being in gear and able to push it,it sounds like thats what happened.

See in the picture where I circled...the circle piece has slipped out of the notch in the shaft.
