Not running well after sitting all winter
I bought my 2005 660 last summer. I put on a White Bros slip on, open airbox with aftermarket filter, 25 pilots, 144/146 mains. It ran perfect since day one. Never one single issue with starting, idling, full throttle, you name it.
It sat for a few months over winter with only being started a few times. I went to ride it today and it seemed fine until I got on the throttle. It would bog and want to die.
So I did what anyone would do and took the carbs off and cleaned them. Put them back on and it's now 100x worse! I can get it to barely start ONLY if I am feathering the throttle and it will run but it runs like absolute shit and is blowing white smoke.
I dont want to keep messing with it without knowing what's causing it so I figured I better jump on here and see if anyone can help me out? My old man is a Yamaha tech but he's on vacation for another week and then he'll be back to check it out but I'd like to pick some brains and see if it's maybe something simple. Like I said it's been an absolutely perfect machine.
Any help would be appreciated!
