Clutch lever problems....

I changed my clutch cover gasket because I was leaking oil.... was not fun..... now I got the cover back on and the clutch lever won’t go in all the way... If I look down the hole I can see something black on the right.... Pictures Below

I'm not familiar with 660's, but it could be a part of a damaged "O" ring. Of course you'll have to get it out. Try a "Chop stick" or similar with a dab of grease on the end.
