Cooling vest?

Hey every body I live in a fairly rural area and can ride some epic trails from my house. But since I live in a desert and its my first summer riding it's gettin hot when I ride! I get exhausted after just 30-50 mins of riding, so I did a quick google search and found thease. "Cooling vest"

Has any body tried them? Do you think one would help me or would dust and dirt just stick too it? I would plan on wareing my jersy over it. Thank you, as always any input is apretiated!
