Re: Dealership Grades

Alamogordo Cycle Center in Alamogordo, New Mexico

Sales = A They e-mailed me the price when I was shopping and I did not have to negotiate 07 SE II $7020 OTD. The salesman did not have much knowledge, but I do my own homework before purchasing anything.

Parts = A While I have not purchased anything else from them, they offer 10% discount for parts/accessories to customers that buy bikes/quads.

Inventory = A on quads, they had both blue, grey, GYTR, SE, and SEII.
B- on accessories/apparrel very little

Mechanics = B Some friends have had their machines worked on there and have good reports. They are 75 miles away so I won't make a 300 mile trip for maintenance. I wish they were closer.

Lifes journey is not to arrive at the grave in a pristine well preserved body, but rather skid in sideways, totally used up and worn out, shouting "Man, what a ride!"

purchase- A, got me a really good deal on the bike, delivered right on time.

parts- B, mostly had good experences but a couple of times took a lot long than they said for the parts.

maintanice- c, mostly kids working on bikes, little things were wrong with work.
just had to add this. went in there to get oil, oil filter and K&N cleaner. well needless to say the new guy they hired knew nothing about quads. i told him i had a raptor 700 and he had to ask me what the make of the quad was.

06 Raptor 700r bunch of goodies

CHAPARRAL MOTORSPORTS
RIVERSIDE, CA

D: Pricey, Always try to get you to pay Shipping, Assembly,. ect. Back and forth with "Sales Manager" to get a real price... BS, and more expensive than OTD Motorsports.

A: Excellent selection of accessories.

D: Service department damaged a rim on my Honda 919 once. They suck.....forever.

Smiths Yamaha
Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Sales B
Accessories D--- none at all for quads, no gyrt at all in store
Parts D---- nothing in stock
Maintenance D-- I'll let my daughter work on my quad before any of them and she's 3.

All friendly when you go there to buy a quad, after you get it you're on your own.

Golden West Cycle in California.
They suck all the way around. I ordered 2 oneal racing suits (phase 1) for $69 pants, shirt, and gloves.
Got 2 suits minus a pair of pants, Called them about the situation and they said my stuff was on the way 2 weeks ago. Still not the right gear I ordered. Every time I call I get a Immigrant who talks 100mph and very low. I just want to jump through the phone and kick his ass back to where he came from.

Finally got my 2nd pair of racing pants.
