compression and octane number

yo, i was wondering about the compression and octane and altitude.

after a bit of reading i found out that 98 oc here in eu is equliant to 93 oc in us.
and if im going with 11:1 is 98 oc the way to go, or should i go higher in octane?
and how much do altitude come in to play? where i live it depends on wehere i drive but are around 50 meters ish above see level.

You should be fine with 98 ron you just dont want your engine to ping (detonation). If you can't tell your tuner should be able to tell
