vibration from engine?

ive always thought that i had some unbalance in some of the wheels but now im not so sure.
the vibration comes when i give it gas, and if i let of just slightly it stops. it seems only to come when in 5th gear.
i tried to run it up to 100 kmh just with slight throttle input and no vibration at all, but as soon as i give it some hard gas uphill or straight it vibrates like hell.

any suggestions?

How's your jetting? If it's really bad under load, could need crank rebuild

Jetting is the fuel mixture. Too much gas is rich and not enough is lean

A few things come to mind but jetting isn't one of them. The clutch fibers or basket may be damaged. Crank bearings can sort of be checked by wiggling/moving the clutch on one side, flywheel on the other. Rod bearing requires pulling the cylinder. But, most likely you have a bad tooth(s) in the trans for 5th gear.
