Weird noise in neutral?

Hey guys. First post here. Raptor 700 virgin and loving every bit of it. I noticed this sound the last few days and can't seem to figure what it is or where to even look online to describe it because I don't know where it's coming from. Anyone ever heard this before or know what's up? Some say it's the water pump, some say it's the valve, I'm not sure.

Thanks!

Here's the YouTube vid. (It says I can't post because it's my first post but I can't spare much time to up my rank, so if anyone is kind enough to copy the link into their browser, remove the spaces, and check it out, that would be great. Sorry. Just want to get this going asap.

[Edit: I made the video unlisted instead of public. It's now public]

I couldnt locate the video.

While it is idling, grab a length of hose, put one end to your ear, the other end all over the motor trying to pinpoint the location. Is it a ticking? Could be the valves a little loose needing adjusting.

The hose idea works great. Check the exhaust at the head. Be sure to check your skid plates and other areas besides the motor.

Thanks for the info and the welcome! I will most definitely do that. I don't know how to properly use this forum in terms of responding to people directly or anything or receiving notifications and all of that but I'm hoping this works to tag you guys.

@DEZPERADO

I made the video public instead of unlisted as well.

Does the noise go away if you pull the clutch lever?

If the frequency of the sound increases with revs it is the starter motor rotating super fast because one way is shot.

Look at me I am cool recording a vertical video with my expensive phone.
