Tusk axle on 700r

My rear rotor is bent. Should be an easy job to replace but I have a Tusk adjustable axle and I can’t get the axle nut off. It takes two wrenches and I can loosen the nut on the inner threaded piece but can’t figure out how to remove it. There is a metal band that may need to be removed that is between the nut and shoulder of the axle. Need help!

Did you loosen the two set screws on the axle nut? Also there may be a snap ring in there somewhere, I can't remember.

FYI, I have a rear "Driven Rip Saw" brake rotor for sale, $35 shipped. I also have rear and front brake pads as well as rear bearings and seals for sale.
