Strange problem. When you say bump starting it, are you referring to a buddy pushing you a couple of feet and popping the clutch or is your buddy pushing you down the trail 20 mph?

The only thing I haven’t checked was compression but didn’t see the point with no spark. I can do that if anyone thinks it’ll help. Once’s it’s running it’ll idle all day if i let it

When I first got my 350, I did a lot of the normal maintenance stuff. I noticed that with the plug out of the cylinder and grounded, I could barely see a spark. At first I didn't think it had any spark. The 660 snaps a crazy bright spark, but the 350 looks weak and is hard to see in the daylight.

I can't think of what would be the difference between cranking and bumping with the ignition circuit. Unless the last guy did some funky re-wiring and now the ignition is some how going through the neutral relay or clutch switch.....but then again, if its turning over....ugh.

Right? I’m by no means an expert but I know my way around machines and this ones got me stumped. I’ve been looking through the harness for rubs if it’s getting grounded out somewhere. I thought for sure when I found that broken mount that was the problem. can explain why it would sometimes start or not when the broken piece was touching or not
