04 Raptor 350 possible valve replacement

I have a 04 350 raptor that was 100% fine. I went out today and I was shifting from first gear to second but accidentally kicked it into neutral it reved really high and then I noticed there was a loss of power and a new ticking noise. Sounds like from the top end. I’m not really sure what happened? If anyone has any info that would help I’d appreciate it!!!
Thanks

I may be getting older, but I refuse to grow up!

It's possible you had valve float and had one or more contact the piston. Do a compression check to verify. And, stop riding it, you'll cause more damage. Pull the head and inspect the valves and guides for bent or damage. Check the piston for indents from the valves.
