Ok guys so I bought it 3 months ago so and my friends say that it blows a little bit of blue smoke when I let it the throttle in 6 gear. Is that true, because I had it for 3 months and ever time I check the oil it’s the same level
Check the spark plug for oil fouling, it would look wet, but i think its such a small amount of oil you wouldn’t see the difference, you could also do a compression test just to rule out the rings, or it could be valve stem seals
Is it beat up can you tell it has hours and hours? Sounds like a new piston in rings in the near future. I would not ride alone in long trips with that quad. Could leave u stranded and then the boogeyman and crooked hillary will scare you from the trees in the trails.
i think rings are good then, when you cold start it does alot more noticeable smoke come out? And as it warms up does it go away? And hows the spark plug look?
Yeah it didn’t really smoke a lot. And my plug and my coil didn’t have any oil stuff on it also I think I’m going to try a oil change and new oil and maybe valve covers
sounds like its running perfect it could be a valve seal that is dripping just a tiny bit but I wouldn’t be so concerned about it just keep an eye on things
Also there is no oil blow by from the crankcase tube is that good
