Chain ate harness, Warrior 350

I have a 350 Warrior, & Last week, My wiring harness got caught in my chain, Needless to say it chewed the piss out of it. The CDI box was also got by the chain. I ordered a wiring harness & CDI, Got it all on, Cranked right up, Idles good Takes fuel, But Pops & Cracks through the exhaust. Any thoughts?
Thanks for any help,
Bill

Did you get the right year for the new wiring?

I believe they have a reverse rev limiter that may be causing your problem. I'm going by memory here. Check for a ground wire at the reverse lever area................

I unplugged my reverse sensor.... I also relocated my wires so they wouldnt get caught, I just re-routed them ontop of the plastics instead of "through". It makes it 10 times easier to remove the fenders also.......
