Please I'm begging someone to help me make this choice lol I've read every forum about them and everything my quad has a 734 bb kit with high compression piston I plan on maybe going stage 2 hot cam and Idk if the duals would really be that big of a deal over either of the sparks.
I like the look of the single better but you can make more power with the duals. You can still have a mean machine on the single though, how much power are you aiming for? Also without an intake upgrade i dont know if youd see much dif with the duals.....
Sparks is the loudest for sure. XX6 you can't have a spark arrestor or quiet core. The XX6 will make close to the same hp as duals but will make a touch more tq. Honestly its up to you and your restrictions if you have any. I personally will go sparks single on my next bike purely because I have no noise restrictions and don't want the extra weight of the duals.
Thats another valid point I dont want added weight because I plan on having nerfs put on someday in the future so thats why I'm more than likely gonna be going with the Sparks instead I dont have noise restrictions at all since I basically live on farm land and ride mostly logging roads
Another that went with the X6 BC here. I was ready to spend the extra cash on the XX6 when I was talking to the Sparks rep on the phone and he talked me out of it. Said unless you're building something LARGER than a 734 the X6 BC will out perform the XX6. I called bs on it and he said they've done ever dyno testing they could think of and insisted I stick with the X6. I would have spent the money if he didn't talk me out of it. If you're deciding on a Sparks just call them and talk to them about it before just buying one or the other imo.
Oh BTW mine isn't really THAT loud. I ride with 450's that are loud and mines quieter than those for sure. A few 700's with duals are louder than mine I've seen.
For sure go with Monster BB Duals!! Way better power gain from Monster than the Sparks and sound amazing, so even sounding! Monster duals aren't the loudest but they sound ssorties o smooth! I wouldn't get shorties unless you have cut fenders...
Monster is by far the best performing exhaust out there and I have dyno sheets and both my bikes to back that up! Oh and its by far the best sounding too IMO!
