Don't forget to remove the shift forks from the shafts before they go to cryo and make sure you put them back on the right direction. I took pictures when I did mine, oh and enjoy removing those circlips. I used and eye glass screwdriver and a scribe... they are a PITA. You will need to buy new circlips.

Alright so I could use some advice on this rats nest...Any ideas on how to clean the wiring harness up to look somewhat new without damaging it?

You could use contact cleaner which would clean it up good

simple green soaked on a rag then a dry rag afterwards... would be my choice. How is the motor coming?

Motor is coming along great! The whole new transmission arrived and crank. Im going to send those off to be chemically polished. Then the whole motor including cases will get treated. The heads still at RE getting port and polished. Its been a slow process but Im making sure everythings done right first time.

As said, Simple Green or 409, then Armor All, 303, or tire dressing.
