PC5 or Dynatek fusion

Talking to KB motorsports, supposedly Dynojet & Dynatek are now one and the same? The fusion controller is way cheaper for the same features. What have you guys heard and your thoughts? I have a call in to Geisick for his input as well, since it will be going on his dyno.

Yeah, I just looked on Dynatek's site and everything from the parts to the site layout (at least for mobile) is pretty much identical to Dynojet's. The Fusion looks like I could plug my Autotune into it and it would read it just fine. It looks like they are the same units with different skins.

-EDIT-

Apparently after looking in some other forums, people claim they can hook up their Dynojet parts to the Dynatek controllers. Literally just a re-skinned PCV for less dough. They can accept PCV maps and have the same re-skinned PC software. If this is true, that sounds like a pretty good deal! I wonder if the Dynojet mobile C3 app would connect to the Dynatek Fusion...

-EDIT EDIT-

I have a dynatek fusion and it seems to work fine. The map has the exact same number as the pcv does

Thats exactly what Kenneth was stating and it was quite a bit cheaper than the PC5 with ignition.

Disregard my previous post, I saw that video. That is awesome that the units are the same. Maybe I could get a Fusion with ignition control sometime in the future for a deal and keep my Autotune and they'd still talk between each other.

I'm glad you brought this to attention, Morphrider. Very cool.

KB motorsports has them for $300, that's a $100 savings. I was just reaching out to him about the PC5 and he mentioned the cost savings going this route. After looking around I am waiting for a call back so I can place the order for this unit.

Nice! You should post some pics of the unit and software when you get it. I'm curious.

Nevermind the software pic. Here is both of them. They are identical! I will try to connect to my PCV with the Dynatek software to see if it talks, but I'd bet it will.
