Suggestions for protecting Trail Sensor plugs

Hey everyone. Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for ways to cover and protect the the sensor plugs? I thought maybe using heat shrink but was wondering if anyone had a more practical way?

Are you referring to like a trail tech vapor or the like? The connecting plugs that are a few inches below the unit? I have had mine for years but never thought to protect the connectors, never had an issue with the exception of pulling out a temp sensor wire.

Now that I think about it, I think I am having issues with reading rpm's. Need to look into that.

Yeah, the connections right below the head unit and also the wheel speed sensor connection down near the wheel.

Wasn't sure if keeping those covered and clean from dirt, debris and water was a thing people did.

How is your rpm reading? Just curious in case I run into the same issue.

With my Vapor unit it normally has the bouncing bar graph along with the digital reading I think. Mybar graph is no more, can't remember if the digital reading is still there or not. Perhaps I will fire it up today to confirm any issue and post possible resolution.

As far as what you are thinking of doing for protection maybe just electrical tape. Those wires are super thin.

I'll probably just put some heat shrink over the connections.

Hate to hear that about your tach but sounds like it hasn't been a big issue for ya. Definitely let us know what you come up with to solve it!
