Used Shocks

Hey guys. I was wondering if these used shocks for $175 are worth it. He said he thought they were off an '09 but I can't find this color scheme of shocks for that year. Also, what concerns should I have. Does the wear on the right plastic internal piece mean anything? Any input is appreciated!

idk about 175. the plastic sleeves are just for dirt protection. with any used shock or used bike i would suggest having them freshened up by a shock person. one of the people on the forum is JOGCA he does good work. there are others depending on what side of the country you are.

Looks like they've but cut on to clear something. I'm OCD so I wouldn't get them but that don't mean they're bad. Count on having them rebuilt and figure that into what you want to offer for them.
