Cheaper Upper Ball Joint Replacement

I figured I would post this info since I couldnt find it anywhere else. I have an 06 raptor 700 and needed new upper ball joints. I was going to modify the stock arms to accept a new ball joint or buy aftermarket arms. That is until I found the best solution of all.

2015 Raptor 700 upper arms have replaceable ball joints and fit all the older years to 06. The arms come with new ball joints already in them too.

You need to order the brake line holders too because the arms are round.

2LS-F3540-00-00 FRONT UPPER ARM CO (Yamaha Motor) $47.22

2LS-F3550-00-00 FRONT UPPER ARM CO (Yamaha Motor) $47.22

2LS-F5875-00-00 HOLDER, BRAKE HOSE (Yamaha Motor) $2.68

2LS-F5876-00-00 HOLDER, BRAKE HOSE (Yamaha Motor) $2.68

I reused all the hardware and bushings from my old arms.

Yep, I've suggested that before. The uppers will also fit the YFZ450, (not the R or X).

The pictures won't load on my phone so this question could be irrelevant if I could see them, but anyway......I thought I looked into that before and the ball joint is separate from the a arm, so after ordering the arm and the joint it worked out to about the same as just buying the older style a arms with the permanent ball joint

You must have missed the part of my post that mentioned the arms came with the ball joints. I didnt have to order them seperate and I paid $50 per. Next time I need ball joints it will be $25 per side as I will only need the ball joint next time.
