Front sprocket worn down

I just recently purchased a used 2014 raptor 700. It has the big 3 mods and is widened to 49 inches. When I first started riding it, it would make a sound like the chain was too loose every few minutes. Over the course of an hour, it started happening more and more until finally there would be a serious chain skipping sound. I finally figured out that the front sprocket was totally worn down to the point where there was no teeth, just smooth bumps. Is this common and where can I get a better sprocket to keep this from happening?

It is not common, just a sign of neglect from previous owner. Get a whole new kit that is specific for a Raptor from a vendor of your choosing. RMATV has a good selection and is quick in delivery.

Thanks man. Also the neutral light is now permanently on regardless of what gear I’m in. Is this caused by the worn front sprocket as well?
