Hey guys, I know spark plug issues are common here and I've searched through quite a few other threads but none seem to fully address what I'm looking for.

Is the a correct process to go through before trying to read your spark plug for being lean/rich?

I changed spark plugs recently and when I pulled my old one out, it looked lean. But I've read bits and pieces where guys say you need to run the bike for a certain amount of time, get it hot, shut the engine off, then pull the spark plug before you try reading it.

I'll post pictures of my old spark plug. I had taken it on a handful of good, hard rides with that plug and at the time, the quad only had a Big 3 kit installed. Kit and tune came from Cuervo racing.

I dont think I have an hour of ride time on the new spark plug so trying to read it wont be useful I suppose?

Long story short, is there a correct procedure to run through before trying to read the spark plug?A little spark plug advice?-20190413_143259_1557064635691.jpg
