Code 12 help...

I looked and can't find anything on this one...when I start my 07 700, I have to keep on the throttle till it warms up. After it warms up and will idol on its own, I get on and go. That's when the the check engine light comes on and sends the code 12. I can shut it off and it goes away till I start it up again... Do I need to reset the code of is there more to it that I'm missing

Crankshaft position sensor

Is this after a rebuild or adding anything to it? Welcome to the forum btw.

No, not that i'm aware of... I got the quad last week, owner couldn't get it running after wrecking it. I've got a 400ex, but these 700 efi's are a whole different beast!!!!

The crank position sensor is round, black with three wires. Sit just behind the cylinder and is easy to test per your manual. Remove the bolt and twist to get it out. They are easily broken.

No Manual?? Ask Morphrider.
