First maintenance

Hi guys im new on this just bought a 2019 raptor 700r and im little bit consern bout couple things first if i put and hour reader did i loose mi warranty i have the 4vyr extended warranty someeone that know better plesse explain me..dealershipp allways are going to tell u wjat is convenient for them thats why i came here..and the other thing is about the first 20 rh or 15 hr maintenance how is that done i heard about valve adjustment two... some one that can give me a good info i will apreciate thanks

Welcome to the forum. An hour meter will not affect warranty, that just coils around your spark plug wire anyway. It is perfect for knowing exactly how much time has been on the bike. I can send over a pdf of the revised service manual that you can go over and look at the maintenance schedule. PM me a valid email if interested.

When I purchased my Raptor new, I ask my dealer when I need to bring mine in for a valve adjustment. They looked at me like I was crazy. You will be fine, if it starts making a ticking noise bring it in they said...

I had 6 months warranty on mine and for first service at 20hrs I took it to a official shop. They just changed oil, lubricated it and that was it. From there on I did everything myself. For the first time you do something on it it might be a little tricky but you figure it out pretty quickly. I'm not sure what you can modify with that extended warranty though.
