Max number of pics in a thread???

I've adjusted fine to the new forum, no complaints especially since I read the sticky on how to turn the side bar off.

BUT

I've had a running part-out add in the classifieds for several months...

Re: Dismounting tires?

That's an interesting idea. I might give that a whack.

Velocyraptor: I would but I'm not interested in buying a $70+ bead breaker to use if on four tires and then never use it again.

Dismounting tires?

Do you guys know of any ways to dismount tires from rims? For whatever reason I can't break the beads on ATV tires. I have tire bars, and they worked great for mounting tires but I have had no luck...

Re: where to have engine work done inBILLINGS, MT

I would get the factory service manual and do it yourself. There is plenty of information between this site and the manual to perform any kind of parts swap.

Re: I need a new thumb throttle

But the problem is I have a death grip on the bars and when I move around, the slight movement of my hand effects the throttle. I actually got bucked off on whoops.

Can the thumb and twist be used...

I need a new thumb throttle

I need to look into a new thumb throttle. I changed out my stock thumb throttle for a twist and don't like it. It's fine on flat ground but once I hit a set of woops I got bucked off.

I have joint...

Re: Twist Throttle Preference

I agree. I intend to go back to a thumb throttle with a better thumb paddle. I have joint problems and short thumbs... so I need something that will work for me.

Re: Twist Throttle Preference

I have a twist throttle but I think I'm going to switch back to the stock thumb throttle, but manufacture a new paddle on it because I have short thumbs and I have chronic joint problems... my thumb...

Re: Shorty brake & clutch levers

Wow, thanks for making me aware of the ASV levers, I never knew there were adjustable brake and clutch levers. I have somewhat small hands and could really use different levers.

Re: Tell Me What You Think. Connecting Rod Replace Or Not?

I would also like to add that you should ditch the "over-rev" box. If anything is going to cause your rod to fail, it's that.

Re: How much HP gain?

You won't break 60hp with stock carbs. You'll be in mid 60's with FCR's. You won't get past that without more compression or displacement.

Re: The new Paint for my Rappy...

I shot a PM to evils1 about this. I've been thinking about a paint job but I was concerned if it would get ruined during the first riding season.

I'm strongly considering a black and orange scheme...

Re: Any advice is welcome!!!!

Follow the throttle cable down the the carbs, there is a long nut (not sure what to call it) with a locknut. You can use that to loosen the cable so when you turn the bars all the way there will be...

Re: Blowing white smoke?

A small amount of white smoke can be caused from running lean. Mine did it when my idle mixture was too lean.

My motor is almost brand new, valves are fine, and so is the compression. The only...
