Good morning , I got a new header exhaust pipe for my 2001 660r
I installed but bike is now backfiring ... ( knn filter with open box , hmf header pipe with fmf muffler )
dino jet kit ( 46L /48R ) jets #25 pilot not sure on the needle 2-3 slot down . Should I change the dinojets? or should I stay with same mods? my old headers (left side) had a hole in it so bike had a backfire before the new header , i thought by geting new header it would fix the back fire . note" i did not get new exhaust gaskets ( i used same ones ) about 1 year old . please any thoughts to what i should do ?

Backfiring when?
How many turns on the fuel screws?
Which needle position is it?
3rd or 4th?
It's not the valve adjustment, as it wasn't doing it before, and they don't cause backfiring when tight or loose.

starts up perfectly.
idles just fine.
when 1/4 throttle back fires .
3 turns out on both fuel screws .
ill confirm on needle settings.
i think my stator is not working because I don't have a charging system .
my batt drained on last run ... I then changed out the regulator rectifier , thinking maybe that was it but still
no charging system.
could this be causing the backfire ?

Pilot controls idle to 1/4 throttle.
Needles control 1/4 to 3/4.
Mains control 3/4 to wide open.
With a little overlap.
3 turns on the fuel screws is may be too much, and the needles could be in the wrong clip.
