Hey guys! New to the forum, and new to the raptor world.

I picked up a winter project last week for 600$, 2002 660r. The camshaft decompression weight flew through the valve cover. I decided to start taking apart the engine and it looks like the piston touched the spark plug.

The person I bought the bike from said the previous owner bored it and it was running good before it threw the weights. Looking at the piston that is correct. It has the JE 102 piston. Brand new looking I might add. Now, my question is, how in the world would the piston touch the spark plug? Wrong one is my only assumption. Everything else looks to be fine.
