You'll need basic metric hand tools and a torque wrench.
Always use a factory head gasket, about $35. Base gasket is about $15, timing chain $25, CP piston $225 (?), cylinder hone about $25. Cylinder recoating is around $300.
These prices are estimates, a crank will come with one new bearing, but, I haven't kept up with prices. You'll need a tube of Yamabond, clutch and stator gaskets, maybe a valve job.

You need a flywheel puller, clutch basket pliers, valve spring compressor, calibrated torque wrench, and a piston ring grinder, as well as basic hand tools too.

Hey guys, I need a full engine rebuild. Probably going to cost me $2k. I was going to ask them to just do the bottom end while I did the top end but apparently I dont have the proper tools. Does anybody know of a complete engine rebuild kit that has EVERY part needed?
