I installed a Raptor 250 SE taillight on my 250 tonight.

Here is a list of the parts needed. I have the quantity needed along with the name and part number of the parts. I spent less than $100 for everything. You will use the washer and nuts that come off the old light to install this one. I hope this helps

(1) Taillight Bracket 4D3-84519-00-00
(2) Screw, Tapping 97702-50016-00

does this screw into the same location as the stock light does?
Yep. No modification needed at all. You only need the taillight and taillight bracket. You will reuse your stock taillight screws and washers. Just double check the schematic.

With so many new members with 250 I figured that I would post again so that you guys are aware that this can be done.

Good to know!

I doubt I'll do the change-out for the daughter's quad but, nice to know I can.

Did you buy the parts off a website? If so what is the site? I had a LED tail light I think it was the same one it was missing the cover but then my friend backed up into me and broke it :( I would like to get the same one it was a great tail light!

2007 and 2008 YFZ 450's use the same taillight. They are for sale all the time on ebay!

I put one on my daughters Raptor 90:
