Pulled my quad apart tonight for the new tires going on and my ballance carbon fiber showing up on Tuesday. I was going to go ahead and put the 15t on but didn't have much luck. What size socket does it take to get the nut off that's holding the sprocket on. Thought I might have some luck with channel locks but to no avail she's pretty snug. Thanks

Dont forget to bend the tabs back on the lock ring. I just did mine, try a search and you will find it. Cant remember what size it was.

36mm socket or 1 1/2 ball hitch wrench from wal-mart for 7 or 8 dollars will work the 1 1/2 wrench is big but its a 12 point wrench and it will work with out rounding off the ends.

36mm and dont forget to bend BOTH of the tabs on the nut retainer. Then torque to 61 ft. lbs.

yeah man....like everyone else has said..36mm. Its a bitch, I used a impact wrench. its hard to do with a socket as the motor want to turn over. I dont have an e-brake to prevent movement and putting it in 1st gear did nothing for me.
Comes right off with an impact wrench though.
