Alright I just wanna get a rough idea of if it's just the carbs or if it needs a valve adjustment. I was riding with my friends and it has a little sputter doesn't matter if the trail is bumpy or not it's there even at idle. If I shake it side to side at idle it dies. Is my float level to low? Is it lean? Would a new plug and a carb cleaning fix this? Only thing that's aftermarket is the exhaust DMC Alien. Other than that it's been good. The trans has yet to fail on this although it was in that year.

Sounds like your carbs are dirty IMO. Take them apart and give them a good cleaning, should take care of the issue. You don't make mention of it happening at any certain point in the throttle, just a generalization that it doesn't matter if the trail is bumpy, and also that it's there at idle, so I'm assuming it's there all the time.
