Whats up guys I'm new to the site. I have a 2003 raptor 660 and it won't start. It had been sitting for almost a year I cleaned the carbs and changed the intake tubes and tuned it up. Just the other day I got it running right nad rode it a few times. I went to start it and the starter just free spined so we push started the bike it tured on for a few moments then a simi-loud pop from the motor and me and my buddy can't figure it out b4 we break it down. It has compression but let's it go. And the starter still spins freely. Any help we be great thanks. In u need any other info let me know

One-way starter clutch went bad.

1) Replace the starter one-way with the L&A aftermarket unit

2) check carbs to see if they're still mounted fully on the intake boots and their clamps are tight. Backfire could have popped them off the boots.

Well, fix the one-way and then if there are any issues left, we'll be glad to help.
