Was out riding 2004 raptor 660 and it just bogged down and died. Got it home pulled the regulator plug off and it fires right up, plug the regulator back in and it dies. I tested the plug ab bc ac and they were all close to 30. Got a new regulator just to try it and nope does the same stuff. Am I looking st a bad stator here?

Welcome to the forum!

Disconnect the red stator wire. All should be good now. If not, let us know.

This is all described thoroughly in the 660 Maintenance stickies. I suggest you read them thoroughly.

You're welcome. Now let's hope it works... it does 80-90% of the time.

Cut the wire down by where the wires come out of the stator. Taped and sealed them off and out the back in the black cover and taped it. Ol girl fired right up with the regulator plugged in.
