Its probly just dirty carbs. Id start by cleaning those. If that doesnt help there is a fantastic write up on 660s. In your searchbar for the forum, look for a thread called "common 660 problems".

Plugged jets and carb passages... it's almost always carbs!

Also read the "Common Raptor 660 Problems" sticky about the RPM limiters.

Give us some history on this quad and these symptoms - it helps us diagnose.

Hey I had a question about a raptor 660 to about 3 days ago I went riding with a friend and the raptor was riding perfict once in a while I hear a backfire pop threw the exaused Whje I let go of the gas at higher rpms and the next day I go to ride it I gave it gas and at half throttle it started backfiring a lot and didn’t want to go I cleaned all jets made sure they were clean and still did it so today I went to get it out it had a rough time starting but When it started it was running good Whje I gave it gas but it did it started to so it again... any help??
