Ok so i'm in the process of putting my 700 shock on my 660. The end of the shock where it mounts to the linkage (bottom) is narrower than the linkage. In other words there is some open space between the sides of the shock mount, and the sides of the linkage. Is this normal? Should I just put washers there? Did I get ripped off on ebay and actually get some other kind of shock?

Check out the fliped link post from last monday, I was able to put a 700 shock on my 660 after I completed the grind and flip. Otherwise it is 3/4 of in inch longer than your stock shock and will make your bike POGO...plus bend your linkage...Fitted washers on bottom worked good...

yeah my link is flipped, seems to sit fairly high with the 700 rear, are those cheap rear lowering links any good?
